Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for these apprentice positions, candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements :
- Must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board
- Must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India
- Important Note: Candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible to apply for these positions
Age Limit
The age requirements for applicants are as follows :
- Minimum Age: 15 years as of December 24, 2025
- Maximum Age: 24 years as of December 24, 2025
The upper age limit is relaxable for specific categories as per government rules:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
- OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD candidates: 10 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to additional 10 years as per rules
