The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, has officially released the IISc SERC Recruitment Notification 2025. The recruitment is for System Engineer positions in the Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC). A total of 03 vacancies are available for the posts of System Engineer-I, System Engineer-II, and Senior System Engineer-I. Educational Qualifications

• For Graduate Apprentices: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as B.E./B.Tech., B.Pharma, BCA, BBA, BA, B.Sc., or B.Com from a recognized university . The degree should be in disciplines relevant to the power sector.
• For Diploma Apprentices: Applicants should have completed a Diploma in relevant engineering fields from an institution recognized by the government . The diploma should align with the requirements of the power distribution sector.
• For ITI Trade Apprentices: Candidates need an ITI certificate in specific trades such as COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), Steno English, or Steno Hindi from a recognized institute 

Age Limit

• The age limit for applicants is typically between 18 to 27 years as of the closing date of application . However, age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
