The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), in a joint recruitment drive conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), have officially released the KVS Recruitment 2025 notification. In this notification a total of 9,126 vacancies in various Teaching and Non-Teaching posts across KVS and NVS schools nation wide. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Two-year integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master’s Degree with B.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized university. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi along with knowledge of computer applications is required .
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Four-year integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination and in aggregate with B.Ed. from a recognized university. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is mandatory along with proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi .
- PRT (Primary Teacher): Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education. Qualification in Central Teacher Eligibility Test is essential .
Age Limit
The age requirements vary according to the post, with 4th December 2025 as the reference date for age calculation. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories
